This is developments of one of the designes I liked and I changed it slightly.
This is the seconds design I developed. I like this design more.
This is my silhouette designes scanned in.
And this is them live traced.
This is the first illustration I have chosen. I downloaded a vector of the V&A logo.
This is my final illustration. I just added the siillhouettes I live traced and adjusted the size and angle, so that they all fit into each other. I chose the logo to be purple because I thought it would stand out, but it kind of sinks into the white. I left the sillhouetts white because I though they were eye catching like this, and easy to see what they are. I think this is nice and would be nice if I played around with the colours a bit. I got Inpried by Keith harring with the people fitting into each other, so I had the sillhouetts fitting into each other and around the logo.
This is my second illustration. I thought the idea that Katherine hamnet uses type in her work, so I though back to when we went to the exhibition, and remembered the blitz club, so I decided to create a simular ambiance too when I went into the little club cube.
I got the idea of the sillhouetts from jasper Goodall, where he used them but adds colours and outlines so I wanted to make them look the same as he type so I added a slight glow around the outlines.
Then I just added in the V&A logo in, I made it white so it stood out, but didn't clash. I just put it smelly in the corner so it draws your eye and then you look up to the illustration.
This is my outcome. I think it looks nice because It gives a feel of fashion and the club scene, with the colours I have used. I think I will use this illustration in my final pieces, but maybe change around some of the type to fit in with my posters.
